Meat Flaker
The first cut in meat preparation. Meat arrives in blocks; before it can be minced and mixed, the blocks are reduced to flakes. The MMX-500 does that step.

What it does
- How it worksBlocks go on the infeed, where a barrier holds them in position. A pusher feeds them to the blade, and the flakes drop into a collection bin under the blade, ready to move to the next stage.
- Door interlockThe machine is designed to run only with the door closed.
- Bin interlockThe blade is designed not to run without the collection bin in place.
- Block barrierHolds blocks in position while they are cut.
- PusherBlocks are fed to the blade by the machine, not by hand.
Points to consider
- The block size and condition you work with, which decide whether the machine suits your raw material.
- The output of the stages after flaking. When a line is planned, flaking, mincing, mixing and forming are sized to work together.
